I'm Dr. Omolola Salako
I inspire people to be who they are born to be.
I am glad you are here, and I believe you are here on purpose.
Are you in a position where you know there is more to you than what you are currently doing? Like you believe you can add more meaning and freedom to your life beyond the walls of a career or job?
Do you let the “fear of the unknown” or what people say or think stop you from embracing your purpose and fulfilling your life’s work?
You are not alone, I have been there…and stuck there for many years too!
18 years ago, I discovered my purpose. For me, it was a divine vision and I felt “too young” and scared to attempt the vision. So I started with the very easy part of my purpose journey…the less risky options, the one’s society was comfortable with and the ones less scary for me to embark on.
5 years ago, everything was going fine with my career but I was not fulfilled in fact I was depressed. Not because I didn’t like my work but because I knew what my calling was and I was not embracing it.
Now people know me as an award-winning oncologist and I have several expressions of my life-saving work in cancer care:
- Creating solutions like the Oncopadi app,
- Implementing community outreaches and supporting patients at Sebeccly Cancer Care,
- Managing cancer patients at Pearl Oncology Clinic,
- Conducting cancer research and teaching medical undergraduates and postgraduates at the College of Medicine, the University of Lagos.
